We believe that investing responsibly is essential to achieve the best possible risk-adjusted returns for our unit holders over time.

Sustainability factors are often a signal of management quality, particularly over the long term. Our portfolio managers thus actively integrate environmental, social and corporate governance issues into the investment process.

Principles for Responsible Investment

In 2012, SKAGEN signed up to the UN supported Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI). Dedication to these principles and access to UN PRI's knowledge base will help us become even more successful in investing responsibly.

Responsible investing - more than empty words

Investing responsibly – also referred to as Environmental, Social And Governance (ESG) – should be more than just empty words. This was a core theme at the annual conference held by the Principles for Responsible Investing (PRI) – a UN supported not-for-profit organisation.
